Well, I am on the job hunt again and in this process my husband suggested that I take time to meditate and cleanse my soul. He said to find what I would enjoy doing and feel good about doing. Truthfully I am wanting to work somewhere a little closer to home. A place that serves and benefits our community. Only problem is I don’t know what is really out there. How would I go about searching?

On another note: a FO. 100% cotton goodness! (a.ka. Cider Cloth, RULES! on my Ravelry projects)
Pattern is eLoomanator’s Diagonal Knit Dishcloth knit on size US6 needles with a worsted weight cotton. The cotton is quite soft but pills a lot if left in your bag and you tote around town for two weeks. I am anticipating making a flock of these for Xmas gifts for the family this year. We will see how many I complete, haha.

Also, DH and I had amazing Sunday about two weeks ago just fooling around the IU campus fountains. Out of it I was able to get a good Self Portrait photograph.

The whole time while knitting @ WWKIP I forgot to get the camera out. I can’t believe it! So now I am dedicated to chronicle EVERY knit day outing from now on..but for your viewing are some random pics from that day.

^ beer, fiber, and handmade patch for WWKIP

^ our (me and bry) shadows on Kirkwood

^ Runcible Spoon stained glass crane a.k.a. the best seat in the house

^ alleyway wall next to Caveat Emptor, lovely shadows

Instant gratification projects have always kept me satisfied. I am wanting to deplete my stash as well so what better way to do it than make little projects. To keep my sanity I think I will knit lots and lots of baby things. This all comes easy thanks to Debbie Bliss and her adorable childrens knitwear. I am currently knitting baby raglans from her The Baby Knits Book. Raglans are easily memorizable so I can knit and drink a beer if I wanted to!

On other endeavors..I have been working on an autobiographical photography collection based around my fiber addiction plus other everyday life experiences. I am producing it as a zine/pdf file. I have had this idea swinging in the rafters for a while and am wishing to make it true. If the first one succeeds, many will follow.
