I can’t believe I totally forgot to post this photo of Bry modeling his Ravelry tshirt while also helping me wind a skein into a ball. He is the best!

He is modeling the “Not so Indigo” dyed Knit Picks wool that I am using for my “Arrowroot Shawl”.
This weekend was full of lustings. I didn’t have the budget to buy but instead decided to hand crochet a beret I fell in love with at Urban Outfitters. At the moment it could easily be mistaken as a doily, I emphasize this is not a doily!
The secret to a snug fit beret (I found out) is to weave in a rounded elastic band around the bottom. The ones I saw snuggly woven were black but you could use a white as well.
The whole time while knitting @ WWKIP I forgot to get the camera out. I can’t believe it! So now I am dedicated to chronicle EVERY knit day outing from now on..but for your viewing pleasure..here are some random pics from that day.

^ beer, fiber, and handmade patch for WWKIP

^ our (me and bry) shadows on Kirkwood

^ Runcible Spoon stained glass crane a.k.a. the best seat in the house

^ alleyway wall next to Caveat Emptor, lovely shadows
Instant gratification projects have always kept me satisfied. I am wanting to deplete my stash as well so what better way to do it than make little projects. To keep my sanity I think I will knit lots and lots of baby things. This all comes easy thanks to Debbie Bliss and her adorable childrens knitwear. I am currently knitting baby raglans from her The Baby Knits Book. Raglans are easily memorizable so I can knit and drink a beer if I wanted to!
On other endeavors..I have been working on an autobiographical photography collection based around my fiber addiction plus other everyday life experiences. I am producing it as a zine/pdf file. I have had this idea swinging in the rafters for a while and am wishing to make it true. If the first one succeeds, many will follow.
